Central Vacuum Service Tip

Clean your filter often and replace it as needed.  Central vacuum systems tend to live the longest lives of all household vacuum cleaners, but it does have an Achilles Heel; it's filter.  Two common visits to the shop on Cen Vacs are the motor or control board being inop, and at times a combination of both.  This is usually caused by the dirty or worn out filter.  Dirty filters cause the motors to overheat, bearings too loose oil and PCB to burn out.  Worn filters allow debris to pass through the motor and cause damage.  Check your filters often, and if you have any questions on care or need replacement parts, please call an expert at Everett Vacuum Sales & Service today.
